Dinamo

dinamo.jpg

Perugia, Umbria, Italy

Dinamo “energy” wines are inspired by the work of Antonio Pacinotti, an Italian physicist who invented the Dinamo (or “Dynamo”) in 1860, a direct-current generator using a simple mechanism - “a living, renewable, pure and clean energy”. These wines transparently express the clay and calcium-rich alluvial soils of Lake Trasimeno, and many of them celebrating the local red grape, Gamay del Trasimeno (a historic mis-named variety of Grenache).
